Quartier Bleu is a large, newly designed shopping and residential development covering 25,000m² on the edge of the historic core of Hasselt, Belgium.

At a waterside location close to boat moorings, Quartier Bleu is located on an offshoot of the Albert Canal, which runs close to the center of Hasselt. An underground parking facility with a capacity of 2,350 parking spaces provides easy access to the area.

Above ground level, the architects designed a stunning mix of commercial and residential buildings consisting of 400 apartments, studios and penthouses, catering and commercial facilities. The buildings have names like Docklife, Riverside, The Meridian, City Garden, The Connector, Pontoon and Dockside. Quartier Bleu has already been dubbed ‘the new Saint Tropez’ of Hasselt as it is attracting a growing number of newer and bigger yachts. The project’s investment volume totals EUR 165,000,000.
