When it comes to fall protection and access systems then SAFEMASTER HEIGHT SAFETY SOLUTIONS has just that — the solutions. As an Australian market leader for over 10 years SAFEMASTER has built its reputation on its stringently engineered products and competent knowledge of the height safety industry.
SAFEMASTER has a large range of engineered products, including modular ladder and pull down attic ladder systems, roof walkway and handrail systems, rigid rail, staticline and anchor point systems, and has just complemented its range by the release of the new, innovative Connect360, Customfix and Tilefix anchor points.
The Connect360 roof anchor point incorporates a unique energy absorbing swivel anchor system. This allows the user to work in a complete 360° around the anchor point with ease as the swivel anchor follows the user as he moves.
Connect360 is designed to fix onto the top rib of most roof profiles using specialised structural rivets. This eliminates the need to penetrate the pan of the roof sheet, therefore greatly reducing the risk of leaks through penetrations.
The low profiled Customfix anchor point utilises the innovative technological design of SAFEMASTER’s Vertic energy absorber.
The Customfix anchor point is designed to be used specifically on corrugated roof sheeting as this sheeting is commonly used on pitches over 20° and therefore is visible from the ground. It makes sense that the aesthetically pleasing Customfix anchor point is used on these roofs to reduce the visual impact normally associated with surface mounted anchor points.
The Tilefix anchor provided by SAFEMASTER also incorporates the unique design of their Vertic energy absorber.
The Tilefix anchor point is designed to be used on all tile profiles, whether it is clay, cement or slate and is installed with no penetration to the tile, therefore eliminating the risk of leaks which are present with anchors which penetrate the tile. The Tilefix anchor point is fixed to the timber rafter or the top chord of the timber truss using readily available Type 17 screws. There are 5 rows of holes running lengthways on the fixing plate which provides flexibility in fixing by allowing the Tilefix anchor point to be located in the best position over the tile.
All these 3 new cutting edge products are rated at 22kN and are manufactured from high grade stainless steel, electropolished after manufacture to remove any impurities left from the manufacturing process which could contaminate the stainless steel.
