Pneumatic actuation, isolation
and airbag specialist Air Springs Supply announces the appointment of Mr Allan
Shewell as the new manager for Western Australia.
In his new role as the company’s
WA State manager, Mr Shewell will work with the WA team to further drive business
growth in the region.
Mr Shewell will be responsible
for managing sales of air springs for industrial actuation and isolation as
well as airbag sales for heavy vehicle suspensions and complementary Firestone
products from Airbag Man, which specialises in suspension helper kits for 2WD
and 4WD work and recreational vehicles.
His role will also encompass sales
and technical support of internationally proven products such as Pronal
elastomer and environmental protection products used in resource, water and
industrial applications, including pipeline systems, as well as pickers and
grippers for manufacturing, packaging and food and beverage applications.
According to Air Springs Sales
and Marketing Manager, Mr James Maslin, Mr Shewell brings the perfect balance
of engineering, marketing and management expertise to the WA team, and will be
an asset to their customers seeking sales, supply and technical support.
A mechanical/marine engineer by
trade, Mr Shewell has worked with Firestone Industrial Products for more than 20
years. Firestone is distributed in Australia by Air Springs Supply.
