Alucobond Architectural  will celebrate their 40th anniversary at designEX 2009 by both reflecting on the brand’s past and present architects, builders and designers with a glimpse of the future.

Since their market introduction in 1969, Alucobond Architectural have enhanced modern buildings with their range of aluminium composite materials. Alucobond Architectural will reveal the latest additions to this product range at designEX 2009, including the innovative timberAL wood colour finishes, to mark the brand’s 40-year milestone.

According to Bruce Rayment, CEO, Alucobond Architectural, the anniversary is an occasion to celebrate the success of Alucobond Architectural in the past, and also to showcase the products and innovations planned for the future.

Originating from a patented product idea, Alucobond was initially used for upgrading shop buildings, transport applications and furniture construction, but was later used in exterior architectural applications and corporate identity programmes.

Alucobond Architectural have claimed numerous international prizes in architecture.
