Alucobond Architectural introduces a new app that enables architects and designers to simulate various facade finishes and colours on different types of buildings.
The free-to-download iPad and iPhone app, ALUCOBOND AU allows users to simulate the complete range of surfaces from Alucobond Architectural on commercial, residential, industrial and public buildings at the touch of a screen.
Mark Bradfield, Business Manager, Alucobond Architectural says that the new iPad and iPhone app is an innovation in Australia and supports architects and designers in their work.
Mr Bradfield explains that users of the iPad and iPhone app can select from as many as 52 architectural surfaces, including solid colours, metallic colours, special effect colours, Spectra colours, naturAL colours, Wood Design colours and Anodised Look colours, with the app instantly visualising the effect directly onto the building of their choice.
In addition to the colour and building simulator capability, ALUCOBOND AU app also features a media library with numerous project references and images of iconic Australian and international buildings.
Users will also find product information on the Alucobond, Alucobond Plus, Alucobond A2 and Alucore aluminium composite panels, along with technical data for further planning.
A key advantage of the app is that once it is downloaded, it can be used anywhere without an Internet connection. Mr Bradfield describes the ALUCOBOND AU app as an innovative, portable solution designed to save architects and designers time, and put hundreds of images and ideas at their fingertips.
Now available on Apple iTunes, the ALUCOBOND AU app is compatible with the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
