Lumens announces the launch of its new range of PTZ cameras featuring
advanced imaging and offering user-friendly operation.
Lumens’ new VC-A20P Full High Definition (Full HD) pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) internet
protocol (IP) cameras offer continuous, crisp and vivid projections in a
variety of applications. Delivering a versatile solution for a wide range of industry
sectors including education, government, hospitality and retail, the new VC-A20P
is an invertible camera that can be installed in a position similar to a
ceiling mounted projector.
The VC-A20P can be used as a display source, or for video conferencing
presentations, and even as an internal security surveillance camera.
Key features of the Lumens VC-A20P PTZ cameras include professional
1/2.8 inch image sensor, with Full HD 1080p output resolution at a high dynamic
image of 60 frames per second; 10x optical zoom, white balance and Exposure
Mode delivering smooth pictures even in low light conditions or environments with
extreme brightness and darkness contrasts; wide shooting area with ability to pan
angles from -170° to +170°, and tilt -30° to +90°; high-speed, quiet and precise
positioning thanks to smooth PTZ controls; and 128 pre-set settings and stable
remote control delivering more effective and efficient presentations.
Connectivity options include Ethernet, DVI-I and C-Video, helping to produce
the smoothest possible picture quality and allowing for simultaneous image
outputs. The VC-A20P supports a H.264 video compression format via Ethernet to significantly
reduce the bandwidth for transmitting video. This technology uses less hard
drive disk space when recording. The new PTZ camera also distributes streaming
media files while supporting Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF)
protocol.
The new Lumens VS-K20 compact camera controller is compatible with all
Lumens PTZ cameras, and provides users with fuss-free operation and various
camera adjustments as well as auto backlight keys and OLED display for easy
viewing.
The new Lumens VC-G30 Super Bundle package consisting of a VC-A20P,
VS-K20 and UB540 video capture box is now available for users seeking a
