LIXIL announces the launch of the American Standard Design Award (ASDA) 2023 APAC Competition. Organised by American Standard for students in the region, the competition aims to bring the design community across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) together to develop beautiful and purposeful design that is inspired by the next generation of designers.
Open to architecture and design students in their second year or higher from the eight participating APAC countries – Australia, Cambodia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam – this year’s competition carries a theme of ‘A Home to Love, a Space for Everyone’, aligned with the American Standard brand purpose of raising the standard of daily living.
Participating students will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity in designing residential bathroom spaces for multigenerational living. Entries will be evaluated and awarded on two levels: National and Asia Pacific, where students stand to win cash prizes and an opportunity to intern with participating design firms.
