Ansell , a world leader in hand protection, announces the launch of AlphaTEC, featuring the revolutionary, new Ansell Grip Technology (AGT).
AlphaTEC represents the new generation in chemical handling protection with new levels of comfort, flexibility, and thanks to AGT, outstanding grip performance. Using a patent pending manufacturing process, AGT means that less force is required to grip oily or wet objects. This innovative technological breakthrough gives workers the grip, control and confidence to get the job done safely.
Microscopic channels in an ultra-thin nitrile layer direct fluids away from the grip surface, thus leaving a significant contact area dry with almost the same grip as under fluid-free conditions. The improved grip means workers experience reduced hand fatigue and stress, which often leads to permanent injury such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Repetitive Strain Injury.
AlphaTEC’s unique production process also ensures an exceptionally safe chemical barrier. Unlike most supported gloves on the market, AlphaTEC’s polymer coating does not penetrate into the liner during the dipping process and therefore provides a polymer shell of consistent thickness, meaning better protection for the skin. AlphaTEC provides excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, in particular to hydrocarbon-based chemicals, oils and solvents.
AlphaTEC, the new generation chemical protection, and AGT, Advanced Grip Technology – a perfect combination to help deliver superior performance, greater productivity and costs savings through less stress and fatigue and other related injuries.
