SGS have a strong knowledge of the sign market, distributing cutting plotter systems to signwriters for 12 years. “We want to bring our loyal signwriting customers into the digital revolution with the world renown Roland machines - cutting all vinyl/material types as well as having the capability to print banners and mounted signage in minutes. We offer rental/leasing packaging to our customers to allow signwriters to penetrate the digital signage market without laying out a large capital sum,“ said Managing Director Barry Grant.
The Roland range of machines includes the Hi-Fi & Hi-Fi PRO Inkjet printers plus the Cammjet inkjet/cutting plotter. The Hi-Fi inkjet printer has a professionally high print quality of 1440 x 1440 dpi resolution with a six colour cartridge system. The new Hi-Fi PRO inkjet printer is available in 42”, 54” and now 64” and uses an eight cartridge system including CMYK + Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Orange and Green to print flawless, smooth graphics that show no banding.
The Cammjet Inkjet/cutting plotter allows customers to cut as a cutting plotter and print as an inkjet printer, available up to 54”. All machines use dye-based (indoor) ink and pigment-based (outdoor uv) ink which allows customers to print and/or cut for a huge variety of applications – vehicle graphics, mounted signage, POP, Lightbox displays, textile printing and more.
