The Australian Construction Industry Forum (ACIF) introduces the new Customised
Forecasts Dashboard to facilitate easy access to ACIF Forecasts for businesses
of all sizes in the industry.
ACIF Forecasts offer industry stakeholders a comprehensive view of the
upcoming demand for work across all sectors, as well as trends in construction
costs and labour requirements. Released in May and November at ACIF
Construction Forecasts Briefings, the Forecasts are published as Construction
Market Reports.
Available on a subscription model, ACIF’s Customised Forecasts Dashboard
simplifies the process for businesses to use ACIF’s Forecasts database,
allowing them to access accurate local or national data online and plan
effectively.
Four forecasting tools are provided in an easy-to-use online dashboard: Query
the ACIF Forecasts database on Work Forecasts; Labour Requirements; Projects in
your area; and find out the Big Picture for construction costs.
Key features and benefits of ACIF’s Customised Forecasts Dashboard
include availability of data for upcoming work for residential building, non-residential
building and engineering construction for the next ten years; choice of 20 work
types, and selection of locations by states and/or capital cities; forecasts
can be generated as short term of eight quarters or a long term of ten years; and
data sourced from ABS, Cordell Information and expert economic reports, before
analysis by ACIL Allen Consulting.
Forecasts are scrutinised by ACIF’s Construction Forecasting Council, a
panel of economists and industry experts from finance, housing, commercial
property and more.
ACIF can be contacted for more information about a subscription to the Customised
Forecasts Dashboard.
