Australian Forestry Standard Ltd announces the extension of the
Queensland Government and Timber Queensland's Chain of Custody Support Scheme.
Companies can avail of up to $5000 worth of funding support to obtain chain of
custody certification.
Chain of Custody (CoC) certification is the formal process of tracking timber
and forest products from a certified forest to the end product sold to
customers. The Support Scheme reimburses costs directly incurred in obtaining
chain of custody certification. Eligible businesses can claim 100% of eligible
costs to a cap of $5000 excluding GST.
Eligible businesses can apply till 31 December 2014 to participate in the
Scheme, and have until 30 June 2015 to obtain certification and
submit a funding claim.
