A relocatable truck turntable has recently been installed and commissioned by Australian Turntable Co. (ATC) for a Leighton project in Eagle Street, Brisbane.
The first new addition to the truck turntable range, the relocatable truck turntable is ideal for temporary requirements and can be used in existing developments or loading dock situations.
The relocatable truck turntable has a low height of 250mm and can be fitted with up to 360 degrees of access ramp to ensure a safe and smooth transition for vehicles.
Leighton’s contacted ATC with a logistical problem whereby a truck turntable was the only solution. They had to accommodate over 80 concrete truck deliveries a day on top of an already busy 50 deliveries per day inner city loading dock schedule. Height restrictions and the loading dock being located on a suspended slab gave ATC’s design and engineering teams cause to be creative.
