Autoflo has brought sensor taps out of the confines of indoor washrooms with their new range of low voltage sensor taps including the AutoAqua range designed for use in an outdoor setting.
Autoflo’s new hands free taps resist activation from sunlight reflection while their waterproof to IP65 connections and electronics mean that they can be installed outside.
Given the limitations in outdoor environments such as public areas and parks with minimal access to power points, Autoflo’s new low voltage taps can be powered via 6V lithium battery modules, eliminating the need for an external power source. These batteries last approximately 4 years based on 150 uses per day.
For outdoor applications where the standard models aren’t quite appropriate, the electronics can be utilised in a custom build with a specific tapware outcome more fitting to the environment.
