Axiom Group supplied a custom decorative screening solution to the Precinct Apartments project to assist with sunlight control.
Located in the vibrant Abbotsford/Richmond area, Precinct Apartments has been designed and built by Probuild with an emphasis on community living. The $115M, 10,000m² Design and Construct project consists of 460 apartments over five separate buildings.
Axiom’s AxiLume slatted louvre system was selected for the project with the custom screening solution able to slide across the facade to block or allow sunlight into the apartment. The 70mm slats are inserted into a slotted side rail at a 45-degree angle to create a slimline and effective faced screen system.
AxiLume screen systems offer a decorative alternative to traditional timber screening solutions with the added benefits of a maintenance-free design as well as choice of flat blades or elliptical blades, and fixed, operative and bi-fold louvre options.
