Bildspec supplied their acoustic moveable walls for the Googong Anglican School’s recent upgrade of their learning spaces.
Designed by Cox Architecture, the upgrade project was focussed on providing flexible, innovative learning environments at the school. Bildspec was selected as the supplier of choice because of their track record in creating attractive, open plan, connected spaces within existing buildings. With Bildspec’s acoustic operable walls, learning and activity spaces have become flexible, eliminating the need for structured, rigid and isolated classrooms and halls.
Bildspec supplied easy-to-use, DDA-compliant moveable operable walls that could be used to partition a large open area into two classroom learning spaces at will. Alternatively, the room can be maintained as a large interactive open learning space.
These folding acoustic walls also have high acoustic ratings, facilitating open learning spaces where children can study in a quiet yet robust physical environment.
