C.R. Laurence Australia announces a new range of thermal
sliding door systems engineered to perform and designed to appeal visually. The
new high performance thermal sliding door was recently launched at the AIA Expo
2014 in Chicago by C.R. Laurence's U.S. Aluminum Division, a leading manufacturer
of aluminium architectural systems.
CRL-U.S. Aluminum has expanded their residential and
commercial offering with the Series 3000 high performance thermal sliding door
systems.
Designed as a two-track sliding door for fin or block
frame applications,, the Series 3000 is thermally broken to provide highly
functional fenestration solutions for high-rise residential applications
requiring contemporary styling and enhanced energy saving potential. Key benefits also include clean sightlines,
high thermal performance, and excellent resistance to air and water
infiltration.
Key features of Series 3000 high performance sliding
doors include a 4½" frame depth to accommodate 1" dual glazed and 1¼"
triple glazed insulating glass in OX, XO, OXO, and OXXO configurations; choice
of three models tested as AAMA LC25, CW40, and CW60 rated products; engineered
to comply with high structural loads and demanding specifications; optional
stacking subsills and thermally broken head channels and bottom tracks to
provide exceptional thermal performance; rugged overall construction, coupled
with heavy wall stiles and interlocks; multi-point locking system; heavy-duty
adjustable tandem rollers; floor track with stainless steel caps; and optional 3"
heavy-duty stainless steel roller assembly available to effortlessly operate
heavier doors.

Series 3000 sliding doors have been tested comprehensively

The sliding doors are available in several
corrosion-resistant finishes including standard anodised clear, dark bronze,
and black, in addition to custom anodised and Kynar-painted finishes. The
Series 3000's door can also be supplied with separate interior and exterior
finishes, as well as optional extruded screens and factory glazing.
