The CASE Construction Equipment Customer Centre Paris, in Monthyon to the north of the French capital, has proven a great success in its first six months of operation. Opened in October 2009, by CNH Construction Equipment CEO Jim McCullough, the €3 million Customer Centre provides an opportunity for customers from around the world to test individual machines in specific job site working conditions. This allows contractors and rental companies to make informed buying decisions, finding exactly the right machine, with the necessary attachments and specification, to meet their individual operating requirements.
The Customer Centre has hosted visits from Case dealers and customers from the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Finland, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands and Switzerland. The experience has been equally beneficial for the dealers. UK dealer Warwick Ward’s Simon Causier says: “The visit to the Case Customer Centre was excellent. Our customers were very impressed. They thought that the presentation of both light and heavy equipment was excellent, it was detailed and it gave a very good overview of the range.”
The Centre incorporates 1,900m2 of showrooms, an auditorium, a restaurant and workshops. It is set in 16ha of specifically designed work zones, each allowing customers the opportunity to see and try machines in their own applications. Case runs two-day events for customers, throughout the year, with each event catering for between 5 and 25 visitors. The experience provides active, relevant demonstrations along with the opportunity for customers to operate a full line-up of equipment.
“It is a great opportunity for clients to know more about Case, the brand, the complete range of products that are on offer and most of all to try the machines,” says Jean-Pierre Pagnoux, from French distributor Solimat TP. Without exception all of my customers were convinced of the capabilities of the Case range of equipment,” confirms Jens Bosel, of Erfurter Baumaschinen
Baugeratefrom (EBB)."
