Palladiana terrazzo flooring from Covet International is making an impressive style statement at a private home in Brighton, Victoria.
Visitors are floored by the elegant palladiana terrazzo at the entry and throughout the residence. The stunning palladiana terrazzo floor has an alabaster base and 10mm Keyneton Green Epidote, with inset Verde Alpi Marble.
Designer Sally Caroline describes the design as "a little wild, a lot expressive".
Palladiana terrazzo embodies the design principle of movement, creating a modern, textural and immersive space. The asymmetry and organic beauty of the skilfully positioned exposed stone evokes a tactile response.
Installed by Concrete Resurfacing Systems, the palladiana terrazzo floor consisted of a 12mm concrete overlay in alabaster with 10mm Keyneton Green Epidote as the aggregate colour with inset Verde Alpi Marble, and a 12mm exposed aggregate surface finish.
