Pre-painted aluminium cladding from Craft Metals was specified for The Mill Apartments in Eastwood NSW as it met all the design objectives of the project.
Designed by Marchese Partners Architects, The Mill Apartments was built on a site that was once known as the 'The old Brickworks' in Eastwood. Deserted for a number of years, the vacant site was an unproductive wasteland until 2006 when the quarry was finally filled using recycled excavated materials from the Epping to Chatswood railway tunnels. The site was restored to create up to 255 residential apartments.
Designed with green living in mind, The Mill Apartments sits amidst a serene green landscape full of parks and shade. Installed by Architectural Roofing and Wall Cladding, Volcano Stone, a pre-painted aluminium cladding product from Craft Metals is not only 100% recyclable but also corrosion resistant, making it perfect for the harsh Australian climate.
Exclusive to Craft Metals, Volcano Stone pre-painted aluminium is lightweight, resistant to UV light and low maintenance for the life of the project.
