DECO Innovation Centre, a stunning showroom that displays high-end products from DECO Australia, has won top honours at the Interior Fitout Association (IFA) 2020-2022 Industry Awards.
ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects, the designers behind the DECO Innovation Centre, won the IFA 2020-2022 Design Award for Best Design – Commercial. The DECO Innovation Centre creatively features DECO’s product range at full-size and in a variety of contexts.
This innovative display centre showcases a range of interior design applications including DecoBatten profiles in a wave effect, the award-winning modular ceiling panel system - DecoCeiling, a working kitchen complete with marble-look DecoSplash splashback, and a dramatic canopy and entryway that draws customers into the showroom.
ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects designed the Innovation Centre to celebrate DECO’s innovative spirit. Architect Jordan Curran, the Retail & Mixed-Use Partner who leads the practice’s Sydney studio, said his team was proud to work with DECO to design a visually appealing, highly functional commercial space that also provides an interactive experience for DECO’s customers.
“We’re thrilled to win this award for our collaboration with DECO,” said Jordan. “We worked hard to incorporate DECO’s product range and a standout architectural feature into a memorable design we hope inspires DECO’s customers.”
The DECO Innovation Centre is located in Minto, NSW and open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm and on select Saturdays.
