The Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV) announces that voting is now open to the public for the 20th BDAV Building Design Awards to select Victoria’s best in building design.
The BDAV Building Design Awards profiles excellence in building design and promotes the importance of the building design profession to both the building industry and the wider community.
The BDAV People’s Choice Award celebrates Victoria’s best building designers across residential design, interior design, heritage conservation, energy efficient design and non-residential design including commercial, industrial, hospitality and public buildings. Victorians have to select their favourite design project from the showcased nominees in this category.
BDAV President Alistair McDonald encouraged the public to take the time to appreciate Victoria’s best in building design and discover their passion for creative and sustainable design.
McDonald described the People’s Choice Award as an opportunity for Victorians to vote for the project they believe is the most innovative, visually stunning and technically advanced design.
Voting for the People’s Choice Award is now open at www.bdav.org.au and closes 10am Monday 13 July 2015. The award will be presented at the BDAV Annual Dinner on Saturday 25 July 2015.
