This global expansion of DCW with the launch at DesignBUILD is set to promote investment in growth markets like Australia and signifies the future direction of the industry.
Owned and presented by Diversified Communications Australia, DCW will partner with leading built environment events DesignBUILD and Total Facilities to present content and offer its unique BIM insight at both at the physical event in October, but also via online content channels throughout the year.

DCW seeks to promote innovation, efficiency and connectivity for the industry and is a timely entry into Australia given the move toward remote workforces and need for sustainable solutions across the industry.
The introduction of the DCW content stream at the combined DesignBUILD and Total Facilities event, will provide a dedicated platform to discuss and demonstrate how Australia’s built environment can capitalise on this emerging technology field.
In addition to the education stream, DCW will also host a series of exclusive access and site visits to Sydney’s leading building information modelling (BIM) projects currently in progress.
Hughes is excited to be bringing the brand to Australia and believes the technology and innovative thought-leadership the brand connects with can play a vital role in solving some of the sector’s big issues, particularly in light of COVID-19.
“Investment in digitising aspects of the built environment has never been more important and even more relevant in the current climate is the need to move towards creating a profitable, sustainable and more productive built environment,” says Hughes.

Diversified Communications acquired Digital Construction Week at the end of 2018 with 2021 the first year that the brand will extend outside of the UK.
