A bus shelter incorporating laminated decorative glass from DigiGlass was recently installed in Smith Street walkway in Darwin. Smith Street is in the city centre and is the hub of Darwin's shopping precinct.
This bus shelter was manufactured and installed in Darwin, for the NT Government by NT Handrails. The laminated glass panels are made from 17.52mm Toughened DigiGlass laminated - A Grade safety glass. The laminated decorative glass incorporates artwork, graphics and slogans by Edmond Carter Design in Melbourne, offering a mix of effects
The supply of the DigiGlass laminated decorative glass panels was handled by Viridian New World Glass Darwin Manager, Lyndon Bradshaw.
By using DigiGlass decorative glass panels in the shelter, the designer has been able to create a place of interest and has helped to beautify the environment. DigiGlass will perform extremely well in the very humid and tropical Darwin environment.
