Effuzi International has installed the ‘Eclipse’ demountable grandstand in Wellington’s Te Whaea Sports Field. The grandstand provides spectators a place to sit and watch the sporting activities that are being played on the artificial sports field.
The Te Whaea artificial sports field can withstand more game play than most robust and well-drained grass fields. Even though the sporting ground has been mostly used for community sports, the full-sized field has been built to specifications to suit FIFA and IRB approved games.
Other than the 'Eclipse' demountable grandstand system, the artificial sports field also consist of a warm-up area, a pavillion with change rooms and toilets, floodlighting, as well as perimeter fencing and native plantings around the park.
The Te Whaea sports field will be used as a training venue for Rugby League, in adjacent to the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
The ‘Eclipse’ demountable grandstand system, from Effuzi International, features Albany seating solutions that would provide spectators with a place to sit and watch the sporting events take on Wellington’s Te Whaea Sports Field.
