In a repeat performance, EZ Concept took home an award for their InSwing door jamb at the 2016 US Architectural Record Magazine Awards. The company had earlier won an award for their SRC single rabbet trimless doorframe in the 2015 awards edition.
The jury consisting of six architectural professionals assessed 425 entries for the 2016 awards and rated them according to usefulness, aesthetics, and degree of innovation. The EZ Concept ISD InSwing door jamb won the award in the ‘Openings’ category, an honour that also recognises the company’s unique design of architectural products that support a strong commitment to innovation, usefulness and aesthetics.
The design of EZ Concept’s InSwing frameless jamb concealed door hinges impressed the judges. The InSwing frame system is designed for the door to be flush with the wall on the exterior side of the opening, but allows the door to swing into the room.
According to EZ Concept's North America Sales Manager Brandon Johnson, being recognised two years in a row was a great achievement for the company as it emphasised the boundaries they were pushing and the innovation going into their new product development.
