Formica has introduced eight new timber-inspired decors to their
flooring range for home interiors. Recommended for kitchens, dining rooms,
bedrooms and lounge areas, the new collection is available in the latest
colours and finishes, helping homeowners create trendy interiors.
Formica Marketing Manager, Vivienne Rosta explains that the new
collection brings the look and feel of wood to floors, and also offers greater
durability than most natural timber flooring. Designed specifically for
Australian interiors, homeowners can create modern living areas with Formica flooring
at a fraction of the cost of most solid timber floors.
Observing that Formica’s new flooring range delivers the same warmth,
character and richness of traditional timber with new colours and finishes, Vivienne
added the floors can be installed easily and quickly by DIYers or flooring
professionals.
The five Formica Laminate flooring colours include the earthy tones of
Dijon Oak, Modena Oak and Smoked Oak, as well as the lighter shades of
Whitewashed Oak and Blackbutt. The latest decors are available in the matt
finishes of Structured Vintage or Structured Fabulous to complement the new
colours with the natural texture and character of timber.
The gloss finish range of Formica Supergloss flooring offers a lustrous
polished look to deliver a consistent pattern variation and realistic woodgrain
depth. The new colours in Tasmanian Blackwood, Queensland Walnut and Spotted Gum
reflect the purity and natural beauty of timber.
With the latest additions, the Formica flooring range now comprises of a
total of 17 contemporary colours in a variety of finishes. Easy to clean and maintain,
Formica flooring is made in Europe and sold with a 30-year residential warranty.
