GH Commercial is proud to announce the launch of its new carpet tile collection, Chromatic Cadence, under the renowned Mohawk Group brand. This innovative range is set to captivate the Australian and New Zealand architecture and design markets with its unique blend of artistry and technology.
Inspired by the work of artist Yvette, Chromatic Cadence draws from her use of music as a catalyst for her vibrant, expressive paintings. A veteran who dedicated over 20 years to the army, Yvette’s creative process intertwines her moods, dreams, experiences, and the unwavering support from her family. As Yvette eloquently puts it, “It reminds me that I am not limited due to my disabilities. I can print every story I feel.”
The Chromatic Cadence collection celebrates this artistic vision with 25 distinct SKUs, categorised into neutrals, desaturated tones, and brights. Made using GH Commercial’s cutting-edge Designer Jet® technology, these carpet tiles feature a water-like pattern and are crafted with a new tip shear griege, resulting in striking texture and depth.
In a unique fusion of music and design, each colour in the Chromatic Cadence range is named after a song, complemented by a curated playlist on Spotify that enhances the collection's thematic narrative of ‘colour as a melody’. This approach aims to evoke a tonal rhythm across floors, offering a space for both imaginative exploration and serene calm.
GH Commercial is also committed to giving back to the community through a partnership with genU, an organisation supporting artists impacted by disabilities and housing insecurity. We are dedicated to making a positive impact; for every square metre of Chromatic Cadence sold, GH Commercial will donate $1 to the genU Arts Programme, an initiative fostering careers for artists with disabilities in the Oceanic region. genU’s Arts Programme is known for empowering individuals to reach their full potential within inclusive communities.
Chromatic Cadence transforms colour into an emotional journey, reflecting the harmonious blend of art and technology. For further information on the collection and to explore its full range, please visit our website.
