GH Commercial delivered a vinyl plank solution to fast-growing fashion boutique Orange Sherbet to complement their luxe design brief, which sought hard flooring that could withstand the foot traffic of a busy retail environment.

Creating a fashion destination

Founded in 2006, Orange Sherbet celebrates inclusivity, and body positivity, offering an expansive size range in a wide variety of flattering designs. This fast-growing fashion boutique created a fashion destination for its customers based in Redcliff, Queensland in Australia. Having grown a successful online store, they wanted to have a physical presence to be able to better connect with their local customer base face to face.

Creating an inspiring space that celebrates fashion and inclusivity was essential for Orange Sherbet when designing their retail space. Designed by OC Interiors, the retail space delivers an inviting boutique shopping experience that is elegant and warm.

“The design for the brand new Orange Sherbet Boutique in Redcliffe QLD was inspired by their fun loving clothing and their sunny location. The design brief of coastal meets glam, using a combination of warm whites, light timbers and hints of brushed brass to add some sparkle. The combination of these warm and mellow tones allows the brightly coloured clothing to be the hero in the space while still delivering a wow factor through textures and finishes,” said Jade Campbell of OC Interiors.

Versatile Verdon Oak vinyl plank

Verdon Oak, a matte finish, vinyl plank hard flooring matches a wide variety of interiors with its timeless elegance and smoothness. Ideal for high foot traffic retail spaces, Verdon Oak is equipped with a hardwearing 0.55mm wear layer, a micro-bevelled edge and varying grain and knots. This European made vinyl plank provides a luxe timber look finish, perfect for Orange Sherbet.
