Manufacturer of solar control and glass security window films, Hanita Coatings recently announced the acquisition of Australian window film distributors, Film Pacific Australia. As of the 1st March 2011, the company has been marketing window films and glazing security solutions under the name Hanita Pacific Pty Ltd.
Hanita Pacific's headquarters will continue to be based in Nunawading, Melbourne, supporting the company's existing distribution network within Australia.
During the transitional period, Hanita staff were on site implementing the incorporation of the product mix, and the new company branding process. From mid March, Andrew Cullen has headed up the Hanita Pacific team, bringing with him 22 years of managerial experience, and a wealth of sales and marketing acumen.
Andrew's new leadership at Hanita Pacific will be backed by the advantages that Hanita's ownership will deliver to Film Pacific customers, the benefits of direct manufacturer involvement: a broad, innovative product mix of exceptional quality films, uncompromising customer service, and professional technical support.
Hanita and Andrew will also implement a fresh marketing approach, with the goal of raising awareness of the role that solar control window films can play in reducing energy consumption.
Lior Chemke, Hanita's VP of Window Films explained, "Solar control films with WERS approval can reduce energy expenditure by up to 30%. Our message is that solar films have a valuable contribution to responsible building management. By helping to deliver quantifiable measurement of results, Hanita aims to support the effective marketing of window film to the commercial and public sectors."
The second area of specialisation and opportunity that Hanita Coatings has introduced is in the area of security. Hanita and its Israeli subsidiaries specialise in the development of advanced safety solutions for tough security problems using the right film combined with anchoring, or retrofit modular systems. This market sector offers extensive potential for growth and specialisation, and is applicable not just for security-sensitive targets, but also to commercial and retail sites for protection from criminal activity.
Hanita Coatings RCA Ltd, is one of the largest manufacturers of window film situated outside the USA. The company is also the only non-American manufacturing member of the IWFA and EWFA.
