A timber flooring product from Havwoods was selected for a contemporary Australian beach style property to deliver a summertime vibe all year. Oak Legacy White, a timber floor available against special order, was specified by Andrew Waller Design to meet the owners’ brief for the renovation.
Seeking to update the 1970s home to a more modern style, the owners wanted a better connection with the beach and the beautiful views, while also referencing local materials. Adopting a layered material approach, Andrew Waller Design utilised freestanding kitchen furniture, soft powdery shades, and whitewashed rustic timber flooring in the home.
Havwoods Oak Legacy White was chosen for both aesthetic and practical purposes, being perfect for installing floating over the existing subfloor. Having used Havwoods’ timber floors on various projects, Andrew Waller Design believes their range offers an excellent selection of quality finishes and colours to suit project needs.
