Helioscreen have installed a custom-made panel glide system at a residence in Peregian Springs, Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
The brief called for privacy of the lounge and bedroom with an option to accommodate sliding doors.
In the lounge panel glides of 2900mm wide with a drop of 2115mm made of five panels at 628mm wide were installed. The bedroom features panel glides of 2300mm wide with 2115mm drop made of five panels with 508mm wide.
All blinds were made out of Milana Shalestone designer fabric and have wand control. Panels glide across the track to stack on the left hand side.
The panels have easy operation against sliding doors, with the customer choosing how many panels they want open at a time. The system enables maximum privacy when needed, but also allows some light into the rooms at other times.
Protection from the sun heating up the glass doors is also provided.
Overall, it was a successful outcome, with the blinds looking fantastic.
