Geostone, Holcim Australia's decorative concrete brand, has launched The Melbourne Range, a designer collection of 28 new decorative concrete products in a vibrant display of colour and sophistication.
The new Geostone products represent a unique and exciting range of decorative concrete mixes developed in collaboration with local architects, builders and our approved installers. “The Melbourne Range will perfectly complement any style of home, commercial or civil project,” says Holcim’s General Manager for Concrete in Victoria, Matt Shinners.
Designed in consultation with architects and interior designers, The Melbourne Range is made from natural Australian stone sourced from regional Victoria and features a spectrum of colours from Hamptons-inspired lighter tones to ultra-modern black on black. The new range, which has been named aptly after the earth’s constellations, highlights the move to ultra white and extra black tones – a decision that has been well received by the building and design community.
“We are really excited to launch our new range for Geostone in the Melbourne, South West Victoria and Mornington Peninsula regions,” adds Shinners.
Simon Ellis Landscape Architects director Simon Ellis was one of the architects featured in the design and is excited about the longevity and sustainability options that the new range provides.
“The new Geostone range is well-grounded, using earthy mixes of stones to deliver concrete that will stand the test of time. With the possibility of some sustainable choices it’s a very attractive option”, says Ellis.
All products in The Melbourne Range can be exposed, honed, or polished when finished, meaning that the full range can be used both internally as polished flooring and externally in driveways, entertainment areas, parks, and recreational applications. The new designer collection aims to create a spectrum of choice for consumers to be creative when designing their interior or exterior spaces to their preferences.
