Jindara Heating have created gas heater inserts which combine the warmth and ambience of an open wood fireplace, but with the convenience and safety of an automatic gas fireplace. Derwent gas heater inserts are not only practical, but attractive too with a large glass window and four fascia options to choose from.
The four fascia options include:

- Stainless steel with black doors
- Plain black with polished chrome doors
- Stainless steel with polished chrome doors
Derwent gas heater inserts are proudly Australian made and have a high efficiency rating. At 894 millimetres wide, 753 millimetres high and 300 millimetres deep, the heaters are also quite compact and can suit a number of residential applications.
Standard features include zero clearance during installation, and efficiency rating of 86.5% and a five plus star rating. The heat output for natural or propane gas is between 19 Mj/h and 38 Mj/h, while heating capacities do vary depending on room size, the number of windows and how well it is insulated.
