Extra large snatch blocks can now be hired from Kennards Lift & Shift . The snatch blocks add to Kennards’ growing range of accessories for crane operations.
The new single sheave units are available in two sizes, with capacities of 30 tonne and 22 tonne. The single sheave units are generally used in tilt-up construction. Single and double sheave snatch blocks, with capacities ranging from one tonne to 10 tonne, can also be hired from Kennards Lift & Shift.
Snatch blocks are used with wire rope slings or as a means of increasing line pull in a winching application, while a side plate opens to enable placement of the block on a wire rope at any point in a winching application.
Kennards Lift & Shift offers crane operators the accessories they need beyond those they already have, and can offer a quick replacement when they experience problems with their own equipment.
