Kennards Lift & Shift supplied a mini conveyor system that enabled excavation contractor, Neil ‘Gordie’ Gordon to take ‘direct action’ while overcoming an access problem. The mini conveyors were supplied by the Kennards Lift & Shift hire centre in Dandenong, Victoria, which opened only last year.
Sub-contracting on a new multi-unit housing development, Gordie used the linked 240V units to move more than 30m³ of soil through the narrow gap between two buildings.
He explains that any alternative method to move the soil would have taken far longer than the five hours it actually took them. Setting them up was also very simple.
