Doors from Kings Roller Grilles and Shutters (KRGS) were specified by Datum Shopfitting Pty Ltd for the revitalisation project undertaken at the Powerhouse Museum in Ultimo NSW. The roller shutters were used in an interior application.
The first major redevelopment of the Museum since it opened in 1988, the revitalisation project aimed to create a more open museum. Key features of the project included a new public forecourt and entrance, street-side café and gift shop, a new gallery for international and in-house exhibitions, and significantly enhanced exhibition spaces.
