The Falling Leaf Festival (27-28 April) in Tumut attracts large numbers of visitors to the town. In preparing for the 2007 festival, Council decided to install restroom facilities in Bila Park.
A Landmark restroom was chosen for the project since, in addition to being able to safely meet the tight 13 week construction deadline, Council officer Brad Beed believes: “The Coastal amenities was the perfect design for the location and surroundings, lending itself aesthetically with the adjacent Tumut River, open parkland and several existing Landmark shelters and tables and chairs.”
Landmark was able to match the existing shelters yet address durability and maintenance considerations by replacing the standard exterior cladding of the restroom with Colorbond while keeping the wooden roof frame.
