Acoustic sliding doors from Lotus Folding Walls & Doors were used to create flexible learning spaces at St Ita’s Primary School in Victoria.
Designed by Minx Architecture, the Drouin school caters to a diverse range of students and teachers.
Lotus acoustic sliders have been used to divide and open up the space to create an adaptable environment that remains visually connected even when the doors are closed, thanks to the glass panelled doors.
The visual connection encourages learning via osmosis, and also allows the transfer of natural light throughout the space while preventing noise from disrupting learning in other areas.
