Jenny Brown, National Marketing Manager for Australian Window Furnishings division of Hunter Douglas, explains that the new range features a traversing wand operation wherein homeowners simply rotate the wand to turn the fabric blades and draw the vanes across with one hand. Additionally, with no connecting bottom chains or weights, the blinds contribute to a safer home environment for children and pets.
Anyone can conveniently walk through the individual chainless fabric vanes, whether they are opened or closed, for seamless indoor-outdoor living while the Veri Shades operate quietly. The curved vanes are made from a durable fabric with the Veri Shades hanging like curtains but operating with the superior functionality of blinds to provide advanced privacy, light filtering and air flow with a sleek contemporary look.
The dirt- and dust-resistant properties of the fabric simplify maintenance while UV protection helps preserve the fabric and protect other home furnishings from fading due to sun exposure.
Luxaflex Veri Shades are available in two subtly different textured fabric ranges, Standard and Net. The Standard fabric range provides a modern geometric mesh aesthetic, while the Net fabric range offers a timeless net pattern. Each fabric range is available in six neutral and monochrome tones with a colour-coordinated headrail to create a uniform appearance.
