Every year, the Healthcare Facilities Symposium recognises design teams, projects and individuals who have made a profound contribution to the healthcare design industry. New product innovations within the healthcare design and construction industry are also recognised at the annual event. This year, noraplan lona, a premium rubber flooring product from Nora was selected as the Most Sustainable Product by a five-member panel of design professionals.
Tom Hume, national market segment manager for Nora Systems, Inc., accepted the Symposium Distinction Award at a special luncheon during the show.
Nora’s noraplan lona delivers several benefits in a healthcare design application as it contains no PVC, plasticisers (phthalates) or halogens (chlorine), with no coatings or finishes required to maintain its rich lustre.
