These acoustic brick ties provide a low-cost and corrosion resistant alternative to commonly used stainless steel brick ties, which can often cause corrosion issues, especially in coastal areas. Acoustic brick-ties are essentially cavity ties that help to provide a resilient and long-lasting connection between the walls leafs.
The NI-TIE acoustic masonry ties are manufactured from a resilient rubber material molded over the ends of a standard medium duty brick tie. These wall ties deliver powerful insulation against the transmission of airborne and structure borne (impact) sound, while maintaining static forces required for structural purposes. Like all Novaplas products, the acoustic brick tiles have been tested and proven to conform with the requirements of the Building Code of Australia.
