A Drainwell stormwater detention system from
NovaPlas Pty Ltd was recently installed at a large 17,000m² distribution centre in Australia.
The project required 1300m³ (1.3 million litres) of subsurface onsite drainage to reduce excess stormwater from being directed to the local street water runoff and significantly lower the likelihood of flooding while the captured water could be reused instead of wasted.
Flexible in design, the Drainwell stormwater detention system enables developers to detain water onsite in accordance with local council regulations. Installing the system therefore, supports and protects the drainage infrastructure.
