Onda washplanes from OMVIVO were customised for the Sydney Opera House during a renovation of the iconic venue in 2006.
Alterations were also carried out in the public areas of the Opera House including the theatre foyers and public bathrooms.
Onda washplanes were selected for the project as these fittings were ideal for both contemporary as well as classic commercial projects. Omvivo was approached for the project due to their experience with the washplane.
Designed by Joseph Licciardi, the Onda washplane was custom made from solid surface material for the Opera House project.
The fittings were integrated directly onsite and then joined together to create a single length of washplanes.
