Pryda Australia announces the launch of a brand new website featuring a user-friendly interface to suit the needs of all sections of the building and construction industry.
The new Pryda website enables anyone from truss and frame manufacturers to architects, designers, engineers, builders and the DIY handymen to access comprehensive information about Pryda’s truss products and services.
According to Pryda’s marketing manager Simon Healey, the website’s truss manufacturing equipment information now includes videos and detailed product information, while the software training section includes self-paced online training for licensed Pryda software users.
He explains that self-paced training is currently available at Pryda’s Learning Portal and covers beginner concepts on roofs and walls, as well as advanced functions on roof layout and wall detailing.
The Pryda Product Selector is a new product selection tool that enables users to easily choose appropriate timber connectors for the job at hand.
The Product Drawing Library offers downloadable product drawings for inclusion in plans to aid in the understanding of the required building connection for the job. The drawings are divided into several categories to allow building professionals to easily choose from Pryda roof framing tie down connectors, truss to truss connections, bracing fixing details, and floor truss end support or fixing details as required.
The Design Guides feature contains a series of downloadable Pryda technical literature brochures on bracing, brackets and fixers, connectors and tie-downs, hangers and truss boots, nail plates, post anchors, high capacity products and lintels.
The Roof Trusses section highlights the benefits of prefabricated timber trusses and also provides a downloadable timber roof truss installation guide.
Musclebeam, Pryda’s traditional high performance nail plate timber beam that can span distances up to 12 metres, has been highlighted with building professionals being able to easily download span tables on the product.
The Floor and Rafter Trusses section features comprehensive information about Pryda Longreach and Pryda Span open metal web floor trusses that easily incorporate plumbing and other building services within their framework, while the section on wall framing details the benefits of using these prefabricated systems.
The Feature Product section highlights Pryda timber trusses as complete structural systems, complete with span tables, diagrams and specific project details.
Customers can also send their technical queries on the website to Pryda’s design services team with assured response within 24 hours.
Licensed Pryda fabricators have a special licensee login section where they can access more specific information and files on the Pryda equipment range and proprietary software. Visitors to the website can easily locate their preferred Pryda truss and frame manufacturer and/or hardware stockist by clicking on the Search box.
