Handcrafted bricks from the Petersen range by Robertson's Building Products Pty Ltd were selected for a dividing wall on a residential property in East Melbourne, with stunning results.
Homeowner Glenda McNaught chose Petersen bricks for the dividing wall in her garden during a renovation of her home. Seeking a brick that was light in colour, but offered some variation in colour to add interest to her new dividing wall on the boundary of her terrace, she was introduced by Inarc architects to the Petersen D78 handcrafted bricks.
Glenda loved everything about the Petersen bricks, from the slight variations in colour, to the quality and unique size. As she discovered, a dividing wall built with Petersen bricks becomes a standout feature of the garden, offering the perfect balance of privacy from neighbours, while creating a beautiful design element and an endless talking point that complements the style and age of the home.
According to Glenda, the Petersen bricks are beautiful and really great quality with a lovely colour, and they look like they’ve been there forever. This timeless effect is part of the appeal of these unique, handcrafted bricks.
Glenda’s response is what keeps Christian A. Petersen, Petersen Bricks’ seventh generation owner going, and keeps his customers coming back for more.
Petersen bricks measuring 228mm x 108mm x 54mm were used in Glenda’s dividing wall application.
