Rylock has been designing and specifying products that consider Australia’s diverse landscape and local climatic conditions for more than 40 years. With a consultative approach, our team will assist you in specifying the right solutions to meet your energy report, with key considerations including:
1. The right product type and frames; and
2. Selecting high-performance Low-E glazing for a site’s solar orientation
Style meets energy efficiency – selecting the right product type and frame
Designing your project with consideration of the site’s climate and orientation will add comfort and value to the home. Type and size of glass window and door products are critical factors in this process. Appropriate glazing for winter heat gain, carefully positioned products to encourage cross-flow ventilation, and opening clerestory windows to vent warm summer air are but a few design examples.
Ultimate insulation – Thermally Broken
Rylock Thermally Broken windows and doors feature polyamide strips that insulate the inner and outer parts of all frame, sash, mullion and transom sections to significantly minimise heat transfer and deliver the ultimate U-value performance.
Ultimate sizes – Commercial Series
Rylock Commercial Series windows and doors feature heavy-duty extrusions for products at maximum sizes with large sash and panel openings to promote natural airflow for a comfortable living environment.
Low-E high performance glazing – insulation through glass
All Rylock products feature Grade A safety glass Low-E double glazing (with argon fill) as a standard specification for thermal performance. Our team will specify the right solution from a range of Comfort, Solar and Ultra High-Performance options to deliver upon your project’s SHGC requirements.
With so many complex variables, the building design process is best considered in consultation with Rylock’s highly capable professionals who will guide you through the specification process to ensure an optimal, high performance, custom solution.
