Scandico Awnings of Caloundra has made a successful bid for 132 Rex Fixed Frame Awnings for export to Papua New Guinea.
Scandico Awnings’ customer, a gold mining Company, will install the Awnings to both sides of demountable homes, also purchased here on the Sunshine Coast from Transform Global.
This will be Scandico’s first project involving the export of Awnings. All rights to the Rex Aluminium Front Bar die are exclusive to Scandico and is extruded here in Queensland by Capral Aluminium, which makes the Rex Fixed Frame Awning, a truly Australian Product.
A vinyl skin has been chosen for this first shipment overseas, creating a light alternative for shipping and handling at the other end while proving 100% shade and rain protection.
The Scandico awning is easy to erect and can utilise many types of covering such as miniorb and customorb, vinyls and acrylics, Clear Plastic and macrolon.
