Screenwood ceiling panels were installed in various areas of St. Joseph’s College, Gregory Terrace in suburban Brisbane to provide acoustic amenity.
Specified by Macksey Rush Architects, Screenwood ceiling panels incorporating high performance acoustic backing were installed in meeting spaces, hallways and foyers of the school as part of a recent redevelopment.
Screenwood panels were supplied in Hemlock, a versatile blonde timber species with consistent tone and grain. Matching screens not only define spaces but also allow air and light to filter through into the interiors.
The acoustic ceiling panels were customised in Screenwood profile 6020-6 and delivered to site as prefinished, assembled modules. Trimmed to specified lengths prior to dispatch, the panels can be quickly installed with minimal waste.
