Following the relocation of Fairfax media to Darling Point, the Commonwealth bank have moved into the vacated premises and required bicycle parking for over 200 bike commuters. Jones Lange LaSalle, the buildings facility Manager, had to set aside a large proportion of the car park on their security level to accommodate the banks’ bicycle parking requirements in addition to their existing clientele, Price Waterhouse Cooper.
Originally a complete area was to be allocated for bicycle parking; however, these plans were changed to allow for emergency traffic access. The areas where Leda-Vannaclip installed the bicycle racks and rails were sectionalised with chain wire panels to allow 40 CBR4scs to be installed, providing bicycle parking for over 160 cyclists.
