Sprocket Launchpad iPad stands are serving two functions at the ongoing
‘Melbourne Now’ Exhibition being held at the National Gallery of Victoria. The
Sprocket iPad stands are not only delivering information about the show to
visitors through the show app but are also standing within the artwork as
exhibits.
‘Melbourne Now’ is a unique exhibition that examines how the city is significantly
shaped by the artists, designers and architects who live and work in this city.
Showcasing contemporary works across a broad range of media and art forms
including design, architecture and dance, the Exhibition recognises them as
integral parts of the city’s creative mix and legitimate participants in a
contemporary gallery.
Max Delany, Senior Curator Contemporary Art, NGV said that the
exhibition will be an immersive, inclusive and participatory experience,
providing a rich and compelling insight into Melbourne’s art, design and
cultural practice at this moment.
